Project 365 : 246/365 – Addiction
Miranda and I can be chalked up to the vast number of those that have been wrapped up in Words With Friends. It is particularly fun when we are laying around together playing head to head (like this afternoon).

Day Two Hundred Forty Six
Got my Square card reader today. Now I'll be able to take payment via credit cards on location. This is a big convenience for both the client and myself. There are so many other features like automatic receipts and exporting transactions that this a must have for freelance photographer.
This will have a permanent home in my camera bag.
Day Two Hundred Eighty Eight - Fleeced!
After a puncture and a knackered spare wheel, I had to go to the local tire garage to buy two new front tires. Damn!
Now I'm officially skint.
james + rachelle . engaged!
This session is a perfect example of why I love to do engagement sessions before weddings and why I always include them in my wedding package. Scott and I met James and Rachelle last spring in Bellevue to meet about their wedding. It was a great meeting on a beautiful day, but we didn’t really get to know THEM. We’ve exchanged emails and phone calls, which helps a little, but it doesn’t really paint the whole picture.
Day Two Hundred Forty Five
So what's the deal with just posting a photo of my G2 on black? Well hopefully it will be part of something coming out soon. Who knows but since I made this today figured might as well toss it up for today's photo.
Oh and in case you haven't heard about the availability of the Leica skin click here.

Day Two Hundred Eighty Seven - The Aftermath
Just been out for my 2nd run and I'm a little sweaty.... Sorry to any viewers for that detail!
September Wallpaper!
Clearly I'm not ready for September around here! But don't worry, I [almost] didn't forget your September wallpaper...
This landscape photo of the Everglades was made during my trip to Florida. During the same outing, good friend Kaitlin Carroll made some killer watercolor paintings. Check them out!

Choose your poison:
I can’t believe we are talking about the holidays.
I’m going to call her out – because I can – Lauren emailed me about Holiday Portraits yesterday. Really? I’m still sticking to the leather in my car and blasting the A/C like it’s going out of style. But it really, really is September and the last chunk of the year is upon us. So I guess I really am talking about Holiday Portraits right now.
Project 365 : 244/365 – Kristen & Alex (Teaser)
In October I am photographing Kristen and Alex’s wedding and I could not be more excited. I was able to get a start on the engagement session that we had planned tonight and it was so much fun. As I am pulling the photographs onto the computer I can see that their personalities definitely translated into the photographs. I can’t wait to dive into this set for them!

Day Two Hundred Forty Four
It's been one of those days.
Day Two Hundred Eighty Six - There Is Only One Princess...
...and I think sometimes she doesn't realise it!
Our worm compost begins!
* Disclaimer: I may sound preachy in this post and I promise I’m not trying to be. I just want to convey my thoughts and my experience for my own life. I’m a firm believer in doing what YOU can do in your own life and I know that my cause and love of the environment doesn’t necessarily have to be yours. I ALSO know that I’m not changing the world and this is just a little tiny minor step. But. It’s a step. *
