Bank holiday Monday, a free day off for the daily grind!

Kathryn and I decided to go along to Beeston Castle and spend an hour or so climbing up to the top of the hill and relaxing in the sun.

So The Girl has a fascination with parasols that when we went to the store the other day it came as no surprise as to what she wanted. Later on in the day she had asked me to cut one of her balloons. I asked her why but she wouldn't tell me.

Fast forward to this morning when she woke me up and showed me what she made: an island vacation holiday.

Last week was hectic, and I neglected to remind my fellow photographers about Sepia Sunday. Even still, M45 received one entry, from loyal reader Jeff Campbell

Last week while Miranda was excited to discover her favorite soda from her childhood on the shelves at Whole Foods.  I have to say, it is quite good!

In the heat of battle, the Mandalorian found a secluded area to which to have her breakfast. Because, as we know breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

What? It could happen!

Meet Jake, a little bundle of energy that simply doesn't end. This kid is my Brother's Step-son (kinda) and Jake is a Proud 5yr old who can write his name and age on his Thomas the Tank etch-a-sketch.

Jake is a cheeky chappy that has grown up but doesn't quite know what he is doing sometimes... Like mentioning the odd naughty word or slipping a cheeky two fingers up when no-one else is looking. Amusing stuff but I bet he's a right handful 24/7 for his mum and my brother.

While at the dog park this morning I looked up and this caught my eye.  As you can see, I am still having some fun with the miniaturize effect in Camera+.

Little Leila turned 1 a few weeks ago and, just in case you were wondering, she is still pretty much the cutest kid in the entire world.

an incredible gift from our talented friend and tourmate jack g., aka tenlons fort. his flipcam was on constantly during the four days we spent on the road from austin to los angeles. touring goes by so quickly, there's rarely time to absorb it all; these glimpses bring a ton of forgotten moments flashing back, and it makes me all the more excited to leave again in only 9 days.
