Day Two Hundred Thirty Nine
Not only is it Friday, it's also the end of the first week of school, hurrah! What better way to celebrate the end of the week by jumping for joy!
Day Two Hundred Eighty One - Stag Night Prep
My brother text me today with the first Idea for my Stag do... The little smirk indicates we should have a great laugh! (an no its not a rude idea! hehe)
Fistful of Mercy . Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur, Dhani Harrison, Jessy Greene
I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to make this show at Easy Street Records last night, but plans got switched around and Scott & I jetted to West Seattle. We showed up to a giant crowd overflowing onto the street, but luckily we were able to fight our way through and get upstairs.
I didn’t know if I was going to shoot since it was kind of hard to see and I didn’t want to be THAT photographer that’s pushing people out of the way. I did manage to shoot a little bit from the stairs, though.
Enjoy!
Autumn & Matt :: their portraits
I had ten minutes short and unsatisfying minutes for images of Autumn and Matt before the reception was in full swing. I wanted more. They wanted more. I knew my blog stalkers would want more. Here is what 10 minutes and some quick shimmying bought us …
So after the reception, Vivian and I followed them back their honeymoon suite (don’t worry we were invited. I think.) to give the guests time to disperse and to take a little break ourselves.
And then, it was go time again. And we went all out …

Day Two Hundred Eighty - Bonjour?!?!
Kathryn has been designing the accommodation information for our guests and has, for some unknown reason, written "Bonjour" in her notes...
I don't believe we have any French guests ;)
Day Two Hundred Thirty Eight
Onigiri is like one of the best lunch items around. You can simply take a few and shove it in your pocket while you're riveting support beams on the latest high rise or whatever.
When the lunch whistle blows, just reach into your pocket and pull them out to eat. Nom, nom, nom! They may look small but they are so filling almost like Lembas Bread that it can keep someone full for days on end.

Week 24's images are all about Florida, as they were taken during the second week of my trip home.

Project 365 : 237/365 – Getty Center
I had the chance today to pop into the Getty Center for work today and while crossing the grounds, I was able to take a few quick shots of the stunning views. Coming back up with my camera is now on my list of priorities.
Day Two Hundred Seventy Nine - Ba-Ba-Ba Ba-Babybel
Picked up the cheddar Babybel's for my lunch box this week but I'm not overly keen on them.

Last night Scott got home and it was pretty obvious that I had had a trying day. Nothing catastrophic happened, but I was definitely overwhelmed and in a serious funk. For the past month I’ve been in intense thinking mode about photography, life, and how to build something that I’m truly, truly proud of and that also reflects my views of how I want to live my life. No small feat!
