GUEST POST by the wonderful Josh Solar of Solar Photographers.
I’ve read A Million Miles in A Thousand Years by Donald Miller twice this year. Thinking about living your life as a memorable story has caused me to really think long and hard about the things I choose to do with my short time on this earth.

I’ll start with the easy questions today
Day Two Hundred Twenty Eight
Mouse Girl was having a hard time seeing what was happening to the balloons as they floated up and away from the screen so she figured if she tilted the screen closer she could see where they went.
Yeah, that so didn't work.
Project 365 : 228/365 – Cuddles
He looks like he is hating it but anyone that has met Bailey knows that he is in heaven.
This is one of my first photographs using my SB-600 off-camera and into a new 16″ soft box that I picked up off of Amazon. I am liking it so far but I still need to play with it a bit.
Day Two Hundred Seventy - A Photography Bad Boy?
Is there really such thing as a photography "Bad Boy" ?
emmett
Yesterday we were lucky enough to spend the entire 95 degree day on a houseboat on Lake Union in Seattle. Staying true to my Minnesota roots I spent the entire day in the water, swimming up a storm, and when we came home Scott and I were both dead tired.
As it turns out we weren’t the only ones. Scott captured these hilarious photos of our crazy cat, Emmett.
Are you ready to ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK?!
The Producers.
I’ve seen the movie. I should have been prepared for the craziness. But yet I found myself watching “The Producers” at the Campus Theatre in Denton as if it was my first time. And I almost peed myself laughing, even if my laughs were always a few seconds behind the jokes (that’s what a camera in your face during a play does to your brain). My special preview of the play did not disappoint it was utterly irreverent and utterly hilarious. There are still a few shows remaining and I urge you to get off your tush and to go to one of them. Even if you’ve seen the movie.
Project 365 : 227/365 – Watering
I believe I figured out why our plants have been thriving over the last few months. I have been watering them. Coming from rain soaked Florida, this has been a hard routine to get into but I think that after five years I am beginning to wrap my head around the idea.
Day Two Hundred Twenty Seven
Went to the mall. Came back to play video games. Just another day I suppose.
In this position my camera got hit more than a few times. Which in turned caused the viewfinder to smack me in the eye more than a few times as well.
Day Two Hundred Sixty Nine - August Sunshine
It's been a miserable August this year but today was the first day I think we have had a warm sunny day from dusk till dawn.
Sepia Sunday
I'm really excited for Sepia Sunday this week because M45 received some killer entries- I love it!

Day Two Hundred Sixty Eight - Catching Up
Tonight we caught up with our good old friends, Ben (pictured), Jen, Phil and Kay. We used to hang around together a hell of a lot and get up to all sorts. We grew older and moved away loosing contact for a long period of time.
After a great chat and a chippy tea Ben made it his mission to kill the fly that was bugging us all night. He of course failed though but breaking the fly swatter on the wall!
